What does the acquisition mean for my CareerShift subscription?

As a client or user of CareerShift, there will be no change to your service. As we look forward to 2026, we will be announcing new features and plans to enhance CareerShift's product offering, incorporating Pathrise's data-driven and AI-powered software.   Stay tuned for more information later in the year!

How will this impact the CareerShift team?

Pathrise co-founders, Kevin Wu and Derrick Mar will be joining Val Matta and the CareerShift management team. In addition to continued support from Springshare, the new team members will further amplify CareerShift's ability to grow and expand its services.

Will CareerShift be at any upcoming conferences?

Yes! Members of the CareerShift team, including new staff from Pathrise, will be participating in the Midwest ACE, the Mountain Pacific ACE, and the Southern ACE in the coming months. We can't wait to introduce the community to Kevin and Derrick.

What's next for CareerShift and Pathrise?

Pathrise will be discontinuing its direct-to-consumer services at the end of 2025. This will allow the team to focus on incorporating existing Pathrise features and new functionality into CareerShift to best serve university career centers, libraries, students, and alumni. Pathrise will continue to support their current customers until the end of their programs.
