Accessibility Checker
Ensure access with this built-in tool for your LibSites websites.
What is the Accessibility Checker?
The Accessibility Checker helps you review and update your LibSites webpages so you can maintain full accessibility for your patrons and ensure compliance of your institution's web content with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II regulations.
How Does It Work?
- Generate an accessibility report for any of your published webpages.
- Review any issues – the report provides the applicable accessibility guideline and a suggestion for how to fix the issue.
- Resolve any issues and celebrate making your website more accessible!
- As you make updates to a webpage, you can run the Accessibility Checker again to scan for any new issues that have popped up.
Be Ready Before the Deadline!
Is Your Website Ready for ADA Title II?
Public libraries, public schools, community colleges, public universities, and state and local governments across the United States must be in compliance with Title II by:
- April 24, 2026 (population 50,000 or more)
- April 26, 2027 (population under 50,000)
