We are very excited to unveil "The Springshare Lounge" - http://springsharelounge.com to the world.
The Lounge is our new social network/forums/discussion s/videos/blogs platform for LibGuides users.
To keep up with the amazing growth of LibGuides, we realized that our current forums platform does not offer features which would make the forums truly useful - e.g. rss feeds, email alerts, etc. The new platform on The Springshare Lounge does all this and more. You will be able to subscribe to RSS feeds of activity on the site, feeds for specific forums, email updates, etc. It's cool, you'll see!
The only "bad" thing for our current registered forum members is that you will need to re-register on the Lounge site. We will keep this website live until the end of the year to make sure people can use it as a resource during this transition period, but from today onwards please use the new forums for any postings/questions.
So, heard over to http://springsharelounge.com and see what's the buzz all about!

Hi –
Slaven tells me he and his crew are not going to be able to be in Philadelphia for ALA Midwinter, though they plan to be in Anaheim for Annual. It would still be nice to get a group of LibGuides librarians together for a little shop talk, socializing, or whatever.
I’m not very good at planning this sort of thing, but I thought I’d get the ball rolling. Anyone have thoughts on what, when, where, and how? Let’s share them here.
I don’t know how many people read this board, so I’m going to send this to the Facebook LibGuides group and various folks I know at other LibGuides libraries as well.
Hope to hear from you, and see you in Philly.
